Road Trip with My Bestest Friend

Hello to Everyone,
Spent a wonderful day on at road trip with my bestest friend, my husband.
We started about around 10 this morning and headed west. Our plan was to have no plan
and to just go for the day. We did some sight seeing to places like, LaRue Swamp, Pine Hills, Little Grassy Lake and Pamoma Natural Bridge. We came close to a place that we call Bald Knob Cross. It is a beautiful white cross standing some 75 feet in the air, the landscape around the cross is hilly and mountainous. From miles away on top of the opposite mountains you can see the Cross shining in all it's wonder.
Sorry for the rambling on but our day was filled with many sights and sounds to share. LaRue Swamp was alive with the sounds of Frogs, must have been a thousand, we couldn't see the frogs but we could tell by the sounds they were just right out there.
We were traveling a back road and looking out into an empty field we saw a dark black animal. After stopping the vehicle both of us grabbed for our cameras and began to focus in on the animal out in the field. The animal must have sensed us watching after him and he turned in a dead run. We followed the creature for probably 3/4 mile and all the while voicing what we thought this animal to be. We came to the conclusion that we had found a large black panther. But as we began to loose sight of the creature we were discouraged and decided to change our location to possibly get a better photo of the animal as it came through the grove of woods. But to our surprise when out ran the biggest blackest puppy dog........
We decided it was time to head to the house, we had done started seeing things.....
It was to funny, just had to be there.
We did have a wonderful day and I enjoyed spending the day with my Bestest Friend, Buddy, Lover and Husband.
I guess that I have rambled on long enough. I better head out of here for now..
Love,
Me.
